Holiday 2019 - How we chose the destination?

Choosing destination isn't always the easiest thing to do, especially when you are like me, you like travelling and you want to go everywhere.

But luckily our decision was easier, because we had a few free nights at the Nordic Choice Hotels, which we needed to use before end of August this year. They offer hotels basically all over Norway and Sweden, but I've already been to Stockholm and Bergen, so those two were out of the game. I immediately got attracted to Copenhagen and Amsterdam. The hotels should have been available also in Denmark, but sadly no in Netherlands. Firstly, I wanted to plan this trip around Denmark and Netherlands, but because we had a lot more nights than we expected, and the hotels were available ONLY in Copenhagen, my dream got blewed away. So we booked the hotel in Copenhagen and found another one in Amsterdam, which we had to pay. But there was this question, What to do with the rest of the free nights?

Our options were either Gothenburg or Oslo, Riga, Vilnius and Helsinki. Out of all of these we chose the Oslo and Helsinki.

Then when we had the destinations choosed, we booked flight tickets from Vienna to Copenhagen and then booked the tickets between Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Oslo and Helsinki. Still to this day there is the question of how are we going home, because let me tell you, tickets from Amsterdam are expensive as hell. The next thing I did, was that I looked on Pinterest for places that I wanted to see and wrote them down. This way I can look at everything nicely organised.

By the way did I mention that we are going on a two-weeks holiday with just a carry on suitcase? Wish me luck that I can fit everything in it. So you can expect Pack with me post and also I am planning to do post daily from holidays and a little review at the end like what is and what is not worth visiting, if anything.

If you know about some cool places to see in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Oslo or Helsinki, hit me up!

Xoxo Ina...
