This weekend was the weekend of the opened gardens in Bratislava. Many of the gardens that are normally closed for the public, or you can enter them with paying a little fee, were opened for free. So I took the opportunity to take a look at some of them.
The Franciscan garden / Františkánska záhrada
So firts we went to the Franciscan garden. This garden belongs to a monastery of the Franciscans in Bratislava. One part of it is I believe opened to the public on a daily base, but the other one is situated on like forecourt of the monastery, which is typically not opened for the public. On the first part, there is a well and newly there are also some steel statues. And don't forget about the trees!

Then I went to the other part of the garden, the one not opened for the public. If you want to go there you must enter the monastery. They have like a little church there, so I stopped there and admired the beauty of it for a second.

This is the other part of the garden. There were benches all around it so you can sit in there and also a rocking webs.

The garden of Franc Liszt / záhrada Franca Liszta
This garden is conected to the Bratislava library. On this place before, in the 1800's was a garden as well, but it got destroyed, so then this garden was created.

The synagogue garden / Záhrada synagógy

The Jurajov dvor vila
This place is normally closed, and opened only on special events like this one. It is a vila house from the 40's. It was built for the director of the old factory near it's area. Then when the director that build the house died, the vila was redesigned to 3 separated flats so 3 different families lived there. In the 90's there was a hostel for some people. Since then, the building was abandoned.
